In the merry, merry month of May!

We know that May day has been and gone but.......we managed to borrow a May Pole from St James' school and could not resist having a go. So in place of our regular Friday Sound posts session at lunchtime we had an introductory lesson in May Pole dancing.

The children were accompanied by Mrs Burgess on the violin and Mrs Keene on the accordion as well as some snare drums played by one of our VI pupils.

We were blessed with the weather, where the forecast was for rain!!! Instead we had lovely sunshine to dance and skip around the May pole. At least 70 of our pupils, sighted and VI were able to have a go. We have borrowed the May pole for a couple of weeks, so with a little bit more fine weather there should be plenty of opportunities for more dancing!

Thank You to St.James' C of E Primary (what a fantstic resource!)
