I pads in class

We have just installed a programme called 'join.me' which mirrors everything on the Interactive White Board onto either a laptop or an ipad. Below you can see it being used in Reception to tell the story of the Very Hungery Caterpillar.

This further reinforces inclusion in the classroom for our VI pupils.

Here the ipad is providing access to work on the class interactive white board at the pupil's desk.

In addition the VI pupil can easily enlarge any part of the screen using the 'ipad pinch'.
Both Year 4 pupils who used the ipad's in their lessons today said that they were great, giving them a little bit more freedom to be independent.

  1. Good to see you all using the iPads to help you with your learning! Mrs Irving

  2. It was great the way I could just reach across and zoom into a bit of the board I was talking about using the pinch feature so that it was really large and accessible on the screen.
