We started our new academic year with an In Reach all about autumn.
After a quick circle-time introducing everyone who came along, including some new faces, the children were presented with a huge pile of leaves, bark and berries that had been gathered by the Oasis staff over the last couple of weeks.
Each child was given the task of making an Autumn collage.
This was very hands-on! With the addition of Pom-poms, smelly pens and all sorts of collage materials, there were soon some fine pieces of art work being created.
We were also joined by representatives from Open Sight, our local VI charity, to make connections and offer support or advice to attending parents and carers.
It was great to see so many new children attending. Next months In Reach will celebrate Bonfire Night.
