The focus chosen at our VIP Friday's over the last couple of weeks has been 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. This has helped with our work to learn the days of the week and also to reinforce some number work with our younger pupils. For our older pupils, they had the chance to act as mentors, helping and guiding their younger partners boosting confidence and self-esteem.
These and more photographs are on display at the moment in the Oasis, along with captions displaying the words 'collaboration, cooperation and team work' summing up how well the children worked together.
After the paired activities, the children then joined with our team of VI LSA's to start work on our own tactile butterfly....he's a work in progress and will be put on the blog when complete!
